About the event
The Art Farmer / Benny Golson Jazztet is one of the great small groups in Jazz. Formed in 1959, the group drew on both Jazz standards and original compositions and arrangements that featured all of the members of the band. We will be listening to selections from the 6 records they made in the early 1960s for the Argo and Mercury record labels.
